The Ethics of Using GenAI in Discovery & Regulation Trends Under Model Rule 5.3(b)
The use of GenAI in litigation is growing rapidly, which has raised complex ethical issues for attorneys. This year, our panel of esteemed judges will discuss a hypothetical conference between the Judges and the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules. The Judges will discuss how the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure are applied with respect to proportionality, sanctions, remote deposition testimony and remote trial testimony and whether Rules amendments should be considered in these areas.
